Just a quick note to let you all know that we will be CLOSED from Friday December 18th-Monday 4th January as we take our well earned Christmas break. Any orders placed within this time will be sent out to you as soon as we re-open in the new year.

As we move into Autumn, we're looking forward to 2 brand new Squirrel Records releases that will be available to order pretty soon.

SQRL 22 - The Medusa Snare - Cinderella CD album. 10 tracks of lo-fi noise pop heavily influenced by bands such as Guided By Voices and The Clean. Featuring ex-Manhattan Love Suicides members Adam and Rachel. Essential listening for anyone who loves their pop a bit damaged sounding.

SQRL 25 - Ailsa Craig - A Silent No CD album. 12 tracks of sonic moodiness drawing on influences as diverse as The Field Mice, Autechre and Hood and intertwining elements of pop and experimental electronica. Ailsa Craig is the recording project of Random Number Matt Robson with the lyrical and vocal skills of ex-Manhattan Love Suicides front woman Caroline McChrystal. Also features a host of guest musicians including Darren from The Manhattan Love Suicides too.

Both these releases will be available to pre-order very soon. The Medusa Snare CD should be available within the next couple of weeks , with the Ailsa Craig album following shortly after. Keep watching!!

There has been quite a demand for our Manhattan Love Suicides T-shirt. Because of this, we are now totally sold out of Small, Medium and Extra Large sizes. Only a few of the Large size remain; order now or miss out!!!

There has been quite a demand for our Manhattan Love Suicides T-shirt. Because of this, we are now totally sold out of Small and Extra Large sizes, with Medium expected to sell out completely within the next couple of days too. We still have a reasonable number of Large size available however.

We've managed to get our hands on a bunch of copies of The Rosehips 22 track compilation CD from a few years ago. This is now pretty rare and not so easy to find , so grab yourself a copy while you still can.

Up to this point we've been all about the vinyl and the CD's, but we're now expanding to incorporate T-shirts. In the coming months, you can expect to see a Squirrel Records T-shirt, plus T-shirt designs featuring some of your favourite Squirrel Records bands.
