Once again, everyone at Squirrel Records would like to thank you all for the continuing support we're receiving following the announcement we'll be closing the label down at the end of 2012. Thanks for all your messages, and for your continued custom as well. It all helps us to keep bringing you the kind of things you're used to us bringing you by now. We've had a few messages from people asking if they can still order from us........and the simple answer to that is........Yes. Just to clarify the situation as it is......we plan to keep Squirrel Records running as normal until the end of the year. In that time, we will be bringing you another couple of brand new releases on the label (more details about those to follow soon) After that, we'll be closing the doors. But, in the meantime, please continue to place your orders and we will send them out to you as usual.

For another few months yet....Squirrel Records will run as normal.

Also, look out within the next few weeks for SQUIRREL RECORDS T-SHIRTS. We've had loads of messages from people suggesting we print some......so who are we to argue with that? If you want 'em........you got 'em !!

Yep, that's right... only 4 months after the release of The Blanche Hudson Weekend's You Always Loved Violence CD, we've got news of a brand new 7" which will be coming soon on the always excellent (as well as ridiculously prolific) Odd Box Records.

Featuring 2 brand new tracks, (Just Like) Susan George is 3 and a half minutes of pure pop fuzz, and the flip-side, To Be That Way Again, is something entirely different - but no less intriguing. Never a band to be predictable, but always maintaining the pop approach even when stretching out musically, this could well be their best work yet.

Not available for another few weeks, but watch this space as we should be getting some copies in for you to order. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the lovely artwork...

We've got a limited number of the excellent Cinderella CD by The Medusa Snare back in stock here at Squirrel HQ... and still at the ridiculously cheap price of £3.00 too. So, for anyone who has been in touch with us recently asking when it will be available again... well, here it is.

Also, in celebration of upcoming new stuff from The Blanche Hudson Weekend, we've decided to further reduce the price on the excellent Pop Threat - Dirt N' Dust compilation CD. Now that the festive season is over and we're all getting back to normal (or trying to, anyway) we just thought we'd announce a few new things to look out for in the coming months from us here at Squirrel Records. Ailsa Craig - Imperial Cold. This will be the next release on Squirrel Records, and is the 2nd album from the wonderful Ailsa Craig. A little poppier sounding than the excellent debut, A Silent No, but still moody and utterly sublime. Available to pre-order very soon. Watch this space!!

The Blanche Hudson Weekend - (Just Like) Susan George b/w To Be That Way Again. Double A side 7" single featuring 2 brand new tracks - a fantastic pre-album taster which will be ready to order in March. Did we say pre-album? Well, yes we did because coming up after this 7" will be...

The Blanche Hudson Weekend new album. The title is yet to be confirmed, but this will be available to pre-order around May/June. So get saving up for it now.
